A government scheme has made dreams of homeownership possible for 105 home buyers at our development in Rhyl, where just one home remains for sale.
Help to Buy Wales is still available on the final new home at Parc Aberkinsey, giving purchasers the chance to become part of this well-established community – and it’s our former show home, which comes complete with stylish décor and furnishings included.
Parc Aberkinsey has delivered 474 new homes in total, with more than a fifth of those purchased with the support of Help to Buy Wales.
Under the scheme, first time buyers and existing homeowners, can take out an equity loan for up to 20% of the purchase price, interest free for five years. They then only need a 5% deposit plus a mortgage from their lender of choice to cover the remaining 75%.
Our final three-bedroom semi-detached Bretton is priced at £229,995 – within the £300,000 price cap for Help to Buy Wales.
Graeme Gibb, sales director for Anwyl Homes Cheshire and North Wales, said: “Help to Buy Wales is designed to assist those who wouldn’t be able to purchase a property otherwise. It’s a good option for first time buyers but can also provide a solution for other people including those who’ve owned a property previously and want a route back to homeownership, perhaps after a change of circumstances.”
The Parc Aberkinsey development has been hugely popular since its launch several years ago. Sandra Hughes, senior manager at Rhyl’s Peter Large estate agents believes that’s a result of the stylish homes available, coupled with the well-connected, yet scenic location.
She said: “The demand for new build homes in the area is always buoyant and that’s obvious to see given how quickly the Parc Aberkinsey development has grown in such a short time. It’s popular with families who need to upsize and choose to stay in Rhyl for its schooling, close proximity to road links and for work and recreational facilities.
Peter Large has worked with us for more than 30 years and is assisting with sales on the final Rhyl homes. We also have close connections to the town, which has been the location of several Anwyl developments and is home to our bespoke joinery factory.
Sandra added: “Parc Aberkinsey stands on the edge of east Rhyl, only one mile from the seafront and adjoins open country. Many of the properties enjoy views towards the Clwydian hills and the town centre is easily accessed as is the A55, which makes for easy commuting to all of the North Wales coastal towns, Chester and the motorway network beyond. Senior and junior schools are all within walking distance.
“The development offers the latest styles and trends and is an excellent example of new build properties with open space and ideally designed for families with a safe and secure environment.”
Peter Large market properties across the North East Wales coast, with offices Rhyl, Prestatyn and Abergele. The sales team are on hand to take viewings on the final home at Parc Aberkinsey seven days a week and offer local insight into everything the area has to offer, as well as providing advice on the Help to Buy initiative and Anwyl’s Move Simple scheme, which assists those with a property to sell.
