Final countdown of new homes in Oakenholt

We’re nearing a sell-out in Oakenholt with just six new homes available at our hugely popular Croes Atti development.

We’ve created a vibrant new neighbourhood of 422 new homes at Croes Atti on Chester Road. Three of the final homes are eligible to be purchased using Help to Buy Wales.

The Government-backed scheme has supported the dream of homeownership for 137 purchasers at Croes Atti so far, by providing loans for up to 20% of the purchase price. Buyers only need a 5% deposit plus a mortgage from their lender of choice to cover the remaining 75%. There is no interest to pay on the Help to Buy equity loan for the first five years

With the final countdown well underway, we’re encouraging buyers to act now to avoid disappointment.

Graeme Gibb, sales director for Anwyl Homes Cheshire and North Wales, said: “It’s almost the end of an era for Anwyl in Oakenholt. We’ve been building here for more than a decade. In that time, we’ve welcomed hundreds of people into their new homes, including a good mix of purchasers – first time buyers, families and downsizers, amongst others – resulting in a thriving new community. Many of the house types we’ve built have now sold out, with just six homes in a choice of three styles still available. There’s a furnished four-bedroom detached Dolwen style home open for viewing to help give visitors a taste of what to expect in a new Anwyl home. With the final countdown well underway, we’d invite buyers to visit the development sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.”

The final homes include three-bedroom detached Hope, priced from £262,995, and the three-bedroom Clywd, priced from £259,995, both available to with Help to Buy Wales, which has a threshold of £300,000.

The four-bedroom detached Dolwen is available from £354,995

Construction of our new homes in Oakenholt is being overseen by Steve Parry, a three-time winner of the prestigious Pride in the Job Quality Award from the NHBC.

The homes are predicted a minimum EPC rating of B, some even higher, making them some of the most energy efficient on the market. Our thoughtful, forward-thinking approach embeds energy efficiency at the point of construction with features including high quality loft and wall insulation, energy efficient boilers, radiators and appliances, low energy lightbulbs and water restrictors on taps.

The new homes are located in the well-connected village of Oakenholt, close to the River Dee, between Flint and Connah’s Quay.

Croes Atti is open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5.30pm/ For more information see www.anwylhomes.co.uk/croes-atti
