Off plan launch for new homes in Haydock

New homes in Haydock will be released for sale off plan in June, Anwyl Homes has confirmed.

NEW homes in Haydock will be released for sale off plan in June, Anwyl Homes has confirmed.

Work is progressing well at Sandon Gates, where Anwyl is creating 122 new homes across 11.5-acres of land west of Lodge Lane.

The homes are attracting strong levels of interest and, in response to demand, a temporary sales centre will open on site in June.

Sales director at Anwyl Homes Lancashire Matthew Gould said: “There’s been a lack of new homes built in the Haydock area in recent years and so people are excited about the forthcoming launch of Sandon Gates.

“We’ve received more than 300 enquiries from potential purchasers keen to know more about our homes, when they’ll be available to reserve and how soon they can move in. We’ll be keeping those who’ve expressed interest informed of our progress and inviting them to have exclusive early access to the sales centre before it opens to the public. It will feature VR technology, enabling buyers to explore the homes and the development before it’s built, giving them a real insight into what life in a new home in Haydock could be like.

“We also understand that some people will want to view finished examples of the properties and would encourage them to visit our Eagles Green development nearby Warrington, where we have show homes of some of the designs being built in Haydock.”

There will be 85 homes for private sale at Sandon Gates, plus 18 homes for affordable rent and 19 for shared ownership.

Heating and hot water will be provided by gas and solar panels, plus every home will have electric vehicle charging facilities.

Across the development there will be a choice of two, three and four-bedroom homes, with guide prices from £290,000.

Along with new homes, new areas of public open space will be created for the community to enjoy, including a central green space and play areas.

Existing trees and hedgerows bordering the development will be retained and additional planting carried out to enhance the setting. Anwyl will also create hedgehog highways, with gaps in fences for the creatures to travel through, and install bird and bat boxes on buildings and trees.

Located on the edge of an established residential area, there’s a range of amenities within walking distance including supermarkets, shops, coffee shops, and a gym. With a choice of “outstanding” and “good” primary and secondary schools within a mile, it’s a great option for families.

The homes are being built close to the East Lancashire Road and junction 23 of the M6 motorway, offering easy access to the nearby cities of Liverpool to the west and Manchester to the east, plus onward links to the wider North and South.

Homes at Sandon Gates will initially be available to reserve off plan via temporary sales centre at the development. Show homes will open later in the year. For more information and to register interest in Anwyl’s new homes in Haydock see our website
