Home mover event in Heywood

Homeowners have the chance to unlock a quick move to a new home in Heywood with our help.

We’re hosting a movers’ event at our Whittle Brook Park development on Saturday, June 6, providing a one-stop shop to support those looking to take their next step on the housing ladder.

Our homes advisors will be joined by moving experts, including New Home Solutions and independent financial advisors.

There will also be the chance to enjoy pizza and prosecco “on the house”, view six examples of the homes available and learn how Anwyl can make moving easier with incentives including part exchange or Move Simple.

Area sales manager Imogen Suffell explained: “For many homeowners the biggest barrier to moving isn’t finding the right home but the process of selling their existing property. It can take dozens of viewings to secure an acceptable offer selling the traditional way via a local agent. The admin and legal side of the sale can then take 12 weeks or more. We want to simplify that process, which is why we’re hosting a movers’ event to help homeowners make that first step towards moving to a new home in Heywood.

“We’ll have experts on hand to guide homeowners through their options, helping them decide if they want to trade their current property in towards the cost of their new home with part exchange or if they want to use Move Simple to secure a buyer.

Typically, with Move Simple, sellers secure a buyer in two to four weeks. We manage the whole process from valuing the customer’s current home, finding the right buyer, to managing estate agents and even contributing towards their fees. Choose part exchange and the whole process is even quicker and smoother with a guaranteed cash buyer and no need to worry about being held back by complicated chains. You could be in your new Anwyl home in Heywood in as little as six weeks.”

Across Whittle Brook Park, we’re building a good choice of three, four and five-bedroom homes, with current prices from £308,995.

During the event visitors will be able to view three professionally styled and fully furnished show homes, plus finished examples of the three-bedroom semi-detached Dalton and the four-bedroom detached Rufford and Newburgh house types.

They will also be able to use virtual reality technology to explore the development and individual homes.

Our new homes in Heywood benefit from a high specification as standard and the chance to make design choices, subject to build stage. Selected properties are ready to move into and include upgrades worth up to £22,000.

They’re all designed to be energy efficient, with features including air source heat pumps and solar panels, plus electric vehicle charging points.

Because of their energy efficiency, they can potentially be purchased with “green mortgages”, which may offer better rates or cash back. Plus, as energy bills are likely to be lower, there may be the potential to borrow more.

Whittle Brook Park is part of the wider West Hopwood scheme, which will eventually feature employment space, a local centre, new primary school, extensive public open space and sports pitches.

The homes are in the catchment area for a choice of schools, plus there are restaurants nearby and plenty of shopping options including Times Retail Park,

Heywood Market and the Trafford Centre all within easy reach. The hills, woodlands and moors of the Peak District are around a 40-minute drive for those who want to explore the great outdoors.

Manchester city centre is easily accessible via nearby Castleton train station or Bury tram stop, which offers a park and ride service.

The movers’ event takes place from noon to 5pm on Saturday, June 6.

Show homes at Whittle Brook Park are open 10am to 5.30pm Tuesday to Sunday and from noon to 5.30pm on Mondays.
