Homeowners are invited to discover how they could enjoy a seamless move to a new home in Heywood at a special event.
Experts will be on hand at Whittle Brook Park on April 5 to value visitors’ properties, offer independent financial advice and match people with their ideal home.
Area sales manager Amy Houlihan explained: “The idea behind our part exchange event is to provide homeowners with a seamless, hassle-free way to sell the property they’ve outgrown and buy an energy efficient new home that better suits their needs.
“An independent estate agent will provide them with a free, same-day valuation which, subject to a physical inspection, will be the price we offer for part exchange. There’ll also be the chance to speak with an independent financial advisor and to be financially qualified on the spot and then reserve a new home. We’ll hold that property until the customer’s existing property has been physically inspected and a second independent valuation has been carried out.”
Effectively, part exchange sees us become a guaranteed cash buyer for a property the customer wants to move from, leaving them free to reserve an energy efficient new home.
The whole process could be wrapped up in a matter of weeks.
“Part exchange saves time and money,” Amy added. “Instead of having to find an agent to list the house they’ve outgrown, and a solicitor to deal with the legal side of things, our customers can focus on the future, with no estate agent fees to pay. We can also recommend solicitors to handle the conveyancing.”
Whittle Brook Park offers a choice of three, four and five-bedroom energy efficient new homes with air source heat pumps and solar panels, plus electric vehicle charging points.
Homes available with part exchange include the four-bedroom detached Newburgh, and Hollingworth house types, priced from £480,995 and £495,995 respectively.
For those looking for a substantial home, the five-bedroom detached Whitworth is available from £600,995.
At its heart is the combined kitchen, dining and family room spanning the rear of the property, complemented by a separate lounge at the front. There’s also a utility and cloakroom on this level.
Four bedrooms, two with a shared en-suite are on the first floor, along with the family bathroom. One of these bedrooms benefits from a balcony space that sits above the garage.
A boutique bedroom suite spans the entire top floor and includes a dressing room, lounge area, plus en suite with a bath and a shower.
Whittle Brook Park is part of the wider new West Hopwood community which will eventually comprise around 1,000 new homes, employment space, a local centre, new primary school, extensive public open space and sports pitches.
The part exchange event takes place from 10am on Saturday, April 5. For more information call 01706 438110 or see here.
