A virtual reality experience is on offer alongside real-life show homes as Anwyl opens a new-style sales centre at its latest development in Chester. Two new show homes are also opening on Saturday, January 14 at Deva Green to showcase the properties on offer. It’s also the first location in Cheshire to feature one of Anwyl’s new high-tech sales suites with the chance to “see” the homes before they’re built. Combined with viewing the show homes, buyers can enjoy a truly immersive experience.
Graeme Gibb, sales director for Anwyl Homes Cheshire and North Wales, said: “Deva Green is our first development in Cheshire to feature game-changing technology, which enables buyers to see the homes virtually before they’re built. People can take a 3D view of the homes and effectively ‘walk’ down the streets and around the development. They can even ‘step’ inside the homes and choose different specification options including flooring and the finish of the kitchen. It will really help to capture buyers’ imaginations and build on the excitement of buying a brand new home. “We’re excited to welcome lots of eager buyers to our opening weekend with prosecco and refreshments. Independent experts will also be on hand to assist with everything from selling an existing property through our Move Simple scheme, to mortgage advice, alongside our home advisors who can help potential purchasers find their ideal home.”
Deva Green, off Clifton Drive, will eventually feature 142 high quality homes in a mix of two, three and four-bedroom designs. They’re showcased by two professionally styled and fully furnished examples of the three-bedroom detached Bunbury and the four-bedroom detached Ascot.
Graeme believes there’s no better time to think about swapping an old home for a brand new one: “January and February are the coldest months of the year and those who act now could find they’re able to move in time to enjoy a warmer winter in an energy efficient new home,” he said. “Switching from an older property to a brand new house could reduce energy bills by an average of £2,600 a year based on the most recent energy prices*. Plus, because our homes are so energy efficient they could potentially qualify for Green Mortgages, which could result in more competitive interest rates. Our independent financial advisors can help buyers to access to the whole mortgage market, helping to make moving easier to afford.”
Bordered by open countryside on two sides, and located in an established residential area, homes at Deva Green are currently priced from £259,995. Around the homes, Anwyl is creating green space for residents to enjoy and habitats for wildlife, including ponds and new areas of planting. Deva Green is in a great location for buyers who want to be close to excellent local amenities. It’s just a short walk to the Greyhound Retail Park, which boasts three supermarkets, a gym, restaurants and cafes, and a wide variety of shops.” Homeowners will also be within walking distance of the city centre, which they can reach via Sealand Road, taking in Chester Racecourse and River Dee enroute, or along the popular Millennium Greenway walking and cycle route. The new sales centre and two show homes will open from 10am on Saturday, January 14. To find out more about Deva Green visit
