Virtual street view gives a glimpse of future neighbourhood in Deeside

Potential homebuyers can explore a new Deeside development before all the homes have been built thanks to virtual technology.

Anwyl Homes has released a new film of Summers Bridge, which is being built as part of The Airfields redevelopment project, on the former site of RAF Sealand.

While the construction of new homes is well underway, there is now an opportunity to take a virtual tour around the ‘completed’ development online.

Graeme Gibb, sales director for Anwyl Homes Cheshire and North Wales, said: “Our virtual tours help homebuyers to envisage what their new home and community will look like, potentially even before their property has been built.

“The development tour can be viewed on YouTube or, if customers would like to explore a particular plot, they can visit our website or sales office to ‘home in’ on their chosen property.

“Buying off plan gives buyers the flexibility to choose their preferred location and house design on the development, whether that’s a corner plot or perhaps a south facing garden, subject to availability. And with the aid of virtual technology, those buying in advance can have a really good idea of how their home and surrounding properties will look once complete.”

Anwyl Homes is building 183 new homes at Summers Bridge and has completed 23 properties to date. The wider landmark regeneration scheme will see homes, retail and commercial units plus leisure facilities created across 140 acres.

Current prices range from £249,995 for a three-bedroom Bretton style property up to £370,000 for a four-bedroom detached Henley.

One of the homes available and ready to move into is the three-bedroom semi-detached Epsom, which comes with an upgraded specification, including flooring throughout the home and turf to the rear garden.

Priced at £259,995, the Epsom is also eligible for a Help to Buy Wales equity loan.

All homes priced up to £300,000 are eligible for Help to Buy Wales. Those who purchase this way only need a 5% deposit plus a mortgage from their lender of choice to cover the remaining 75%. There’s no interest to pay on the Help to Buy equity loan for the first five years.

Summers Bridge is close to the A494 and A55, offering easy access to the beautiful Welsh coastline and stunning Snowdonia National Park. Shopping, healthcare and other amenities of the well-established communities of Connah’s Quay and Queensferry are within easy reach, while the city of Chester is just five miles away.

Two show homes and a sales office are open Thursday to Monday, from 10am to 5.30pm. Anwyl has recently launched a brand new website with fresh branding and even more useful information for homebuyers available at their fingertips.
