Featuring themed bedrooms and the latest interior design trends, our new show homes in Heywood are inspiring buyers.
We’re building 120 bespoke-designed properties across almost 15 acres of land at Whittle Brook Park on Manchester Road in Heywood.
We have a wealth of digital assets available via our website, but also appreciate that viewing remains an important part of the buying process. With that in mind, there are three professionally styled and fully furnished show homes available to view.
The largest of the showcase properties is the generously proportioned five-bedroom Whitworth, set out over three floors.
Area sales manager Amy Houlihan said: “Designers have incorporated the latest interior trends throughout all three show homes. For example, in the Whitworth they’ve included panelling in the hallway; floor to ceiling curtains cover the entire width of the living room; which features brushed antique effect furniture.”
At the heart of this house is the combined kitchen, dining and family room featuring on trend Indigo cabinets, available to buyers as an optional upgrade, complemented by white work tops. The spacious nature of this sociable space is amplified by French doors offering lots of natural light. There’s also the convenience of a utility and cloakroom at this level.
Four bedrooms, one with en-suite, plus the family bathroom are on the first floor. One of these bedrooms benefits from a balcony space above the garage, accessed via French doors. Styled with an adult child living at home in mind, or perhaps a guest room, it has the feel of a luxury hotel room with a ceiling height statement woodland print headboard sitting in front of a gold and charcoal feature wallpaper.
There’s a cute girl’s bedroom styled in blush pink, with textured wall art, while an eco-conscious teen’s room features a map of the world.
“One of the bedrooms has been dressed as a study with two workstations, reflecting that many people now work from home for at least part of the week,” Amy added.
The crowning glory of this property is the top floor, encompassing the main bedroom and en-suite.
“The main bedroom is fantastic size and we’ve thought about how to make the best use of its size and the natural light,” Amy explained.
“We’ve created a lounge area at one end, somewhere parents can relax away from the hustle and bustle of family life. The window above the bed is almost as wide as the bed itself and with a window effect mirror diagonally opposite this helps bounce the light around the room.”
In the four-bedroom Higham, the trend for bold colours and biophilic prints have been embraced throughout.
For example, the chairs in the combined kitchen and dining room have an oversized leaf motif on. Even the downstairs cloakroom has been given the style treatment with a colourful seaweed print feature wallpaper.
Upstairs, all four bedrooms are a good size. Bedroom one has an en-suite, leaving the family bathroom to serve the other three bedrooms.
There are two fun children’s bedrooms – one styled with a young train enthusiast in mind and the other with an enchanting under-the-sea mermaid theme.
In the three-bedroom Edgeworth, warm neutrals and natural, textured materials create a welcoming ambience. Pale limed oak herringbone flooring creates a sense of flow across the ground floor.
The living room is at the front, with cushions on the boucle sofa coordinating with the colours of the abstract feature wall behind.
In the kitchen and dining room, the chairs are also boucle, helping create a relaxed atmosphere.
Upstairs, two bedrooms and the family bathroom are on the first floor, with the main bedroom on the top floor.
Current prices at Whittle Brook Park start from £289,995 for a three-bedroom semi-detached Altham.
