A Rhyl football team are playing the season in style after we sponsored their new kit.
Rhyl Football Club’s recently formed under-11s team currently has 12 players and trains at Coronation Gardens and Rhyl Leisure Centre. The squad was set up last year to introduce a grassroots team to the club.
Team coach Paul Jenkins said: “The generous sponsorship from Anwyl has gone towards a new kit for the children, some of whom have never previously played football matches. Having a high-quality kit is one of the ways we can help build team spirit and self-confidence for the players.
“We train at Coronation Gardens during the summer and Rhyl Leisure Centre during the winter. As a team, we’ve really started from scratch, but week by week you can see the confidence growing in the lads and their ability now they are playing together regularly. We are looking to welcome new players too as we grow the team.”
