An independent financial advisor and our homes advisors will be able to explain about low-deposit routes to homeownership, including Help to Buy Wales, which offers the chance to secure a new home with just a 5% deposit.
“We want to provide a relaxed and informal setting, where people can learn about their options and potentially meet the people who could be their future neighbours.”

Under the Help to Buy Wales scheme, first time buyers and existing homeowners, can take out an equity loan for up to 20% of the purchase price, interest free for five years. They then only need a 5% deposit plus a mortgage from their lender of choice to cover the remaining 75%.
