Our new homes in Chorlton, Manchester, will go on sale on Friday, January 17 with prospective buyers invited to our launch event to view virtual plans.
We’re expecting interest in the initial homes at Dalton Fields, off Wilbraham Road, to be high, with more than 650 people having expressed interest.
Graeme Gibb, sales director for Anwyl Homes Cheshire and North Wales, said: “Our homes at Dalton Fields offer purchasers in the area a rare opportunity to buy a brand new, contemporary and energy efficient home in the much sought after Manchester suburb of Chorlton.
“Interest has been building since we began work on site last year and, from Friday, January 17, potential purchasers will be able to visit our sales centre on site to view virtual plans for the development and the properties on release. The first homes will be available to reserve “off plan” on the day.
“Our interactive technology gives buyers the chance to take virtual tours around the future homes and streets of Dalton Fields, so they can imagine themselves living in their preferred home before it’s even complete.”
The Wilbraham Road development is bringing a total of 65 much needed new private sale and affordable homes to the area. The homes are being built on land formerly known as Harry Dalton Fields, which closed to the public in 2016 and was owned by The Greater Manchester Youth Federation.
As part of the planning agreement we will contribute almost £558,000 to the local community, with the majority of the funding earmarked for sports and playing field provision.
Work is well underway on the development, with the access roads being formed and work on the properties underway.
The first homes will include the three-bedroom semi-detached Birkdale. Its open plan kitchen and dining room, which spans the rear of the home, has French doors leading out to the garden, and it boasts a separate utility and cloakroom. A spacious lounge to the front of the property receives lots of natural light through the large window. Upstairs are three bedrooms and a family bathroom. The main bedroom also benefits from an en-suite.
Larger properties on the opening release at Dalton Fields include the four-bedroom detached Cheltenham.
Laid out across three storeys, its ground floor features a large living room to the front and a kitchen, dining and family room to the rear, again with French doors leading to the private garden.
On the first floor are three bedrooms, the largest of which boasts an en-suite, while the other two share the family bathroom. The highlight of the home can be found on the top floor, where the impressive main bedroom suite offers an en-suite shower room and large fitted wardrobes.
Prices on the initial private sale homes are from £629,995 to £830,000.
Show homes are scheduled to open in the summer, with the first homes ready for new owners shortly afterwards.
Graeme added: “Our development will include a modern and highly energy efficient collection of three and four-bedroom homes for private sale. Featuring air source heat pumps to provide heating and hot water in place of traditional gas boilers. Each house will also have an electric vehicle charging point.”
The launch event takes place on Friday, January 17, from 12pm to 5pm and over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, January 18 and 19. Appointments for the Friday are fully booked but prospective purchasers can call 01618 841 400 to make an appointment with the sales team over the weekend.
From Saturday, January 25 the sales office will be open seven days a week, from 10am to 5:30pm.
