Open House Event with chance to view homes in Lancashire Ready for you

With the chance to move in weeks rather than months, a visit to Anwyl’s open house event is a must for those hoping for a quick move. With the chance to move in weeks rather than months, a visit to Anwyl’s open house event is a must for those hoping for a quick move to a new home in Lancashire. The homebuilder has a small number of homes “ready for you” to move into across the county and is hosting a special event this Sunday (May 14) so that buyers can view the properties. Participating development include Cross Fields in Catterall; Lawrence Gardens in Barton, where the final home is now on sale; Mill Green, Warton; Priory Gardens, Burscough and Stonebridge Fold, Longridge.
Matthew Gould, sales director for Anwyl Homes Lancashire, said: “One of the key things that sets new homes apart from older properties is that ordinarily they’re bought off plan with only show homes for buyers to view. People can wait months for their new home to be built, which sometimes means they have to find temporary accommodation. “Somewhat unusually we have four styles of homes available across five of our developments that are almost ready for you to move into. We’ve fitted the kitchens and bathrooms, laid flooring throughout and turfed the gardens. They’re simply waiting for the finishing touches that make a house a home. We’re extending an open invitation to buyers to join us for the open house event so that they can view the properties for themselves. They’ll be able to see first hand the quality and finish we offer when you choose a new Anwyl home.”
Across the five locations, Anwyl offers a good choice of three and four-bedroom homes. Available at Cross Fields, Priory Gardens and Stonebridge Fold, is the four-bedroom detached Hartford. Prices vary depending on location, for this generously proportioned home designed with family living in mind. The lounge is at the front of the Hartford, with large open plan kitchen and dining room at the rear. A breakfast bar separates the cooking space from the dining area, while a utility and cloakroom tucked away off the kitchen offer practicality. French doors open out from the dining room to the garden, offering lots of natural light and easy access outside. Upstairs, all four bedrooms are doubles. The main bedroom benefits an en-suite, leaving the family bathroom to serve the remaining three bedrooms. At Mill Green, there’s the chance to view a three-bedroom Snowdon, set out over three floors. Designed to make the most of the footprint and the space available, the ground floor is almost entirely open plan with combined kitchen, dining room and living room, plus separate cloakroom. Two bedrooms and the family bathroom are on the first floor, with the main bedroom, including dressing area and en-suite spanning the entire first floor. The Snowdon is available from £234,995. At Lawrence Gardens, the four-bedroom Lancaster, priced form £421,995, is the final home available. It features a lounge, with feature bay window at the front. A combined kitchen, dining and family room is at the rear, with practical utility and cloakroom adjoining the kitchen. Upstairs, two of the four bedrooms benefits an en-suite, with the main also boasting a dressing room. The remaining two bedrooms are served by the family bathroom.
“Whichever location you choose, our new homes are highly energy efficient. They’re eligible for green mortgages from selected lenders, while also potentially lowering household bills,” Matthew added. “Plus, there’s no need to waste time and money on repairs and renovations. Research by the HBF suggests it would cost more than £70,000 to bring an older three-bedroom semi-detached home to the same standard as a new build.”
