Almost a third of our new homes in Heywood have been sold in the first year
The anniversary of the show homes opening at Whittle Brook Park is the latest milestone for the development.
We’re building 120 new homes across almost 15 acres of land on Manchester Road in Heywood, as part of the wider West Hopwood scheme.
More than 30 of the homes have been sold and around two dozen of them are now occupied.
Area sales manager Amy Houlihan said: “The very first residents moved into Whittle Brook Park towards the end of last year, but for most of our homeowners this will be their first Christmas in their new homes. We’ve entered into the festive spirit and are spreading some seasonal cheer by dressing the show homes inside and out for Christmas. We invited residents and members of the wider community to our Lights Up event, treating them to live music from Freedom Gospel Choir, along with sweet treats, hot chocolate and mulled wine. It was a great opportunity for new neighbours to get together.”
Whittle Brook Park offers a choice of bespoke designed three, four and five-bedroom homes, with current prices from £282,995 to £600,995.
The show homes are examples of the three-bedroom semi-detached Edgeworth, four-bedroom detached Higham and five-bedroom detached Whitworth.
Features including air source heat pumps and solar panels, plus electric vehicle charging points, help them achieve the highest Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) of A.
The wider new West Hopwood community will eventually comprise around 1,000 new homes, plus 1.5 million square feet of employment space, a local centre, new primary school, extensive public open space and sports pitches.
