Homebuilder helps children develop new skills

Children at Burscough Village Primary School are learning through play with help from 'Love From Anwyl'. The school is less than a mile from Priory Gardens, an Anwyl Homes Lancashire development taking shape on Chancel Way. As good neighbours the homebuilder gifted high-vis vests and hard hats to the school and made a financial contribution via its Love From Anwyl initiative. School business manager Vicki Newsome said:
“We asked Anwyl for funding to purchase construction related items for the Foundation Stage children to develop their imaginative play. The children love playing with the drainpipes and planks to build their skills outside in the fresh air, while wearing the hats and high-vis from Anwyl.”
The Love From Anwyl fund is attached to the homebuilder’s Priory Gardens development. The voluntary scheme is in addition to local investment agreed during the planning process. Other good causes in Burscough and the surrounding area to benefit from support Love From Anwyl include Sporting Challenge, 45 th Burscough Methodist Scouts, 29th Ormskirk Burscough St John’s Scout Group and Community Lives Matter. Area sales manager for Anwyl Homes Lancashire Amy Houlihan said:
“It’s great to see children from Burscough Village Primary School having fun and learning through play. The construction toys may even inspire some of them to pursue future careers in the homebuilding and construction industries.
“Our support for the school, and other projects via the Love From Anwyl initiative, is part of our commitment to being a thoughtful homebuilder.”
Priory Gardens features a choice of three and four-bedroom homes. Show homes at the development are open daily from 10am to 5.30pm. For more information, visit Priory Gardens.
