Anwyl makes moving to a new home in Lancashire simple

One simple step could pave the way for a move to an energy efficient new home in Lancashire even if you have a house to sell. One simple step could pave the way for a move to an energy efficient new home in Lancashire even if you have a house to sell. Anwyl Homes is hosting a Move Simple event this weekend (February 4 and 5) across two of its Lancashire developments – Priory Gardens in Burscough and Stonebridge Fold in Longridge. It will be a chance for buyers to seek free expert advice from Anwyl’s own homes advisors; assisted move agents House to Home, who’ll be able to help them sell their current property, and financial advisors with access to the whole mortgage market who will be able to explain about the latest mortgage rates. Anwyl Homes Lancashire sales director Matthew Gould said:
We carried out a survey last year which found that almost three-quarters (71%) of people in the UK would like to live in a new build home. Energy efficiency was the over-riding reason for their answer. But while people are keen to make financial savings by moving to an energy efficient house, many of the enquiries we’re receiving are from people with a house to sell. They’ve recognised that their current property no longer suits their needs and are keen to move, but haven’t yet secured a buyer or maybe haven’t even put it on the market. Some people worry that the pressures of being in a complex chain could mean they feel rushed to move into rented accommodation temporarily while they search for their perfect property. It doesn’t have to be that way.
Across five locations – Priory Gardens, Burscough; Cross Fields, Catterall; Stonebridge Fold in Longridge, Mill Green in Warton, and Lawrence Gardens in Barton – there’s a selection of four-bedroom detached homes that could be ready to move into as soon as the formalities are complete.
As the name suggests our Move Simple event is designed to help make selling and buying easy whether you’re moving up the housing ladder, downsizing to somewhere more manageable or making a sideways step to an energy efficient home to reduce your household bills, Matthew explained. Working with House to Home, we’ll instruct a reliable local agent to market the customer’s current property and ensure they achieve the best possible price. If that wasn’t enough, a sales progressor will liaise with all solicitors and third parties and manage the process on the customer’s behalf. We’ll even contribute towards the agent and legal fees up to £10,000.
