Good causes in Warrington have the chance to receive funding ‘Love From Anwyl’
We’re offering the voluntary initiative linked to our Eagles Green development, where show homes are now open.
Area sales manager Amy Houlihan explained: “Eagles Green is part of the larger Omega scheme, which is regenerating a former RAF base to create a new community of hundreds of homes, commercial space, a country park and schools. It’s rapidly growing into a vibrant neighbourhood and while we’re only in the early stages of our development, we want to help ensure the surrounding area continues to thrive. As part of our commitment to being a thoughtful homebuilder we’re offering a community fund, known as Love from Anwyl. We’re keen to hear from good causes in and around Warrington in need of some financial assistance."
Funding under Love from Anwyl will be released in phases, with the aim of supporting as many projects as possible. With that in mind, there’s a cap on the grants being offered of £1,500 per applicant.
“We’ve supported a host of different community projects in other areas via Love from Anwyl,” Amy added. “For example, we’ve helped foodbanks stock their shelves, funded activities for adults with learning disabilities, answered DIY SOS calls from various organisations and offered hometown support for grassroots sports.”
Love From Anwyl is a voluntary scheme attached to 157 homes being built across 12.6 acres of land phase five of the successful Omega redevelopment of the former 600-acre RAF Burtonwood airbase on the north-west edge of Warrington.
Homes will include improved accessibility requirements and electric vehicle charging points, with heating and hot water to be provided via air source heat pumps.
