Virtual viewings, drone photos and deposit help available in Haydock

Written by Anwyl Homes | 21 Oct 2026

A new neighbourhood in Haydock can be explored virtually, with the company behind the homes offering a deposit contribution to buyers.

We’re giving people a glimpse into the future with an immersive virtual reality tour of its Sandon Gates development available in the sales centre and via the website.

We’ve also released drone photography to show the progress of the development and the location of the homes. Properties are currently being sold off plan, with show homes under construction.

For a limited time only, the homebuilder is offering a 5% deposit contribution.

Area sales manager Amy Houlihan said: “People love the idea of being part of a new community and with the aid of virtual reality they can explore the new neighbourhood at Sandon Gates while we’re building it. Feedback from buyers is that being able to see where the play area will be and then looking inside the different house types is really helping bring the dream of moving here to life. We’ve also commissioned drone photography which offers an aerial view of the site, revealing how work is progressing and the location of our new homes in Haydock.

“We’re not just giving buyers an insight into what their future could look like, we’re helping make it a reality. The deposit contribution offer has the potential to save buyers thousands of pounds. It should help buyers’ money go further, enabling them to move sooner or perhaps access a better mortgage deal.”

At Sandon Gates on Lodge Lane, we’re building a choice of two, three and four-bedroom homes. Current availability includes three and four-bedroom homes, with prices from £331,995. Two-bedroom homes are soon to be released and will be priced under £300,000.

Because the properties are being sold off plan, buyers have the opportunity to select from a range of options and upgrades to personalise their new home before moving in.

Our new homes in Haydock are among the most energy efficient available, meaning buyers should enjoy lower bills with every home featuring solar panels and electric vehicle charging facilities. Their energy efficiency means they can potentially be purchased with “green mortgages”, which may offer better rates or cash back.

The development is taking shape on the edge of an established residential area, with supermarkets, shops, coffee shops, and a gym all within a short walk. There’s a choice of “outstanding” and “good” primary and secondary schools within a mile, making Sandon Gates a great option for families.

Close to the East Lancashire Road and junction 23 of the M6 motorway, Liverpool and Manchester are both within easy reach.

The sales centre at Sandon Gates is open 10am to 5.30pm Thursday to Sunday and noon to 5.30pm on Mondays. For more information see our website.
