Homebuyers looking to purchase a new home in Deeside or Mold have more time to utilise Help to Buy – Wales thanks to an extended deadline.
Help to Buy – Wales was scheduled to close to new applications in September but, this week, that date was pushed back to March 31, 2027.
The Welsh Government estimates 400 additional households could be supported by the extension.
A selection of properties at our Summers Bridge and Dol Derwen developments are available under the scheme.
At Summers Bridge, in Deeside, one, two and three-bedroom properties are priced from £159,995. At Dol Derwen in Mold, the three-bedroom Bretton home, at £299,995, also qualifies.
We’re encouraging prospective purchasers to explore their options and seek independent financial advice to understand whether Help to Buy – Wales could support their purchase plans.

Under Help to Buy – Wales, eligible buyers can access an equity loan of up to 20% of the purchase price of a new build home. The loan is interest-free for the first five years, enabling purchasers to buy with a minimum of a 5% deposit, with a mortgage covering the remaining balance. The scheme applies to new homes priced up to £300,000.
Summers Bridge forms part of the wider Airfields regeneration of the former RAF Sealand site and will eventually provide 183 new homes. Residents are already benefiting from investment in the surrounding area, including a new Aldi supermarket.
The development offers a range of new homes suitable for first time buyers, growing families and downsizers, with show homes available to view.
Dol Derwen has recently opened with new show homes, and our three and four-bedroom homes are attracting a variety of purchasers who want to be close to the market town of Mold, with its vibrant shops, amenities, schools, and countryside walks close by.
