# New homes in Warrington reach halfway mark

Sales of our new homes in Warrington are flying – with around half of properties being built at a former RAF base now sold.
[Eagles Green](https://www.anwylhomes.co.uk/our-developments/eagles-green/) forms part of the wider Omega scheme regenerating the former 600-acre RAF Burtonwood airbase.
We initially launched Eagles Green off plan in spring 2025 ahead of show homes opening last autumn.
It’s become a popular choice with buyers, including locals and those relocating because of the strong commuter links across the North West.
Area sales manager Imogen Suffell said: “Reaching the halfway point at Eagles Green is a real milestone. Dozens of people have chosen to move here and many of them have already settled in. Feedback from residents is that they love the idea of being part of the regeneration of this part of Warrington and helping shape the future of an area that holds so much history. What sets it apart is the range of housing options here. We’re building 14 different house types, ranging from two-bedroom semi-detached properties to substantial five-bedroom family-sized homes, offering something for almost every buyer and budget.
Part of the appeal is the opportunity to own a high quality, energy efficient new home, with the chance for buyers to select from a range of options and upgrades. The location is another big draw. The wider new neighbourhood has so much to offer including a primary school, country park and commercial hub. Warrington town centre is just a short drive away, plus easy access to the motorway network makes it a great base for commuting to Liverpool or Manchester.”
Selected two and three-bedroom homes are available at 80% of the market value, subject to eligibility criteria, with some of the homes exclusively for first time buyers.
These discount to market value homes include two-bedroom semi-detached Sankey style properties, priced from £249,995.
Open market prices range from £353,995 for a two-bedroom semi-detached Woolston 2+ up to £674,995 for a five-bedroom detached Walton.
For those who want a quick move, a three-bedroom semi-detached Penketh is complete and ready to move into, priced from £364,995.
Selected properties are available with a choice of incentives including a deposit contribution, Stamp Duty paid or part exchange.
The homes all benefit from a high specification as standard and are among the most energy efficient available thanks to a combination of heat pumps, electric vehicle chargers and optional solar panels. Because of their energy efficiency, they can potentially be purchased with green mortgages, which may offer better rates or cash back. Plus, as energy bills are likely to be lower, there may be the potential to borrow more.
