# New Chester homes set for sale in Spring
17 Feb 2022 [Amy Lloyd](https://blog.anwylhomes.co.uk/blog/author/amy-lloyd)
A new collection of homes will go on sale in Chester this spring. A new collection of homes will go on sale in Chester this spring. Deva Green is the latest development by Anwyl Homes and will see 142 high quality homes built on former university playing fields, off Clifton Drive. Bordered by open countryside on two sides, the venture will feature a collection of two, three and four-bedroom homes for private sale from Anwyl’s popular and traditionally styled housing range. Around the new homes, Anwyl will be providing green space for residents to enjoy and habitats for wildlife, including ponds and new areas of planting.
> Graeme Gibb, sales director for Anwyl Homes Cheshire and North Wales, said: “The Chester property market is booming and we’re expecting high demand for our new homes when they’re released for sale in the next few weeks. We would urge buyers who wish to find out more to register their interest via our website and we will update them as soon as the properties hit the market. “Deva Green is in a great location for buyers who want to be close to excellent local amenities. It’s just a short walk via a public footpath to the Greyhound Retail Park, which boasts three supermarkets, a gym, restaurants and cafes, and a wide variety of shops. Homeowners will also be within walking distance of the city centre, which they can reach via Sealand Road, taking in Chester’s renowned racecourse and River Dee enroute, or along the popular Millennium Greenway walking and cycle route. “The development will provide a wide range of homes to suit everyone from first time buyers to growing families and downsizers, looking for convenient, low maintenance new homes with stylish and modern interiors.”
Properties will initially go on sale from Anwyl’s development in nearby Ellesmere Port – The Oaks at Rossbank. Prospective purchasers are being urged to register their interest now to receive updates about the imminent sales launch and be first to have their pick of the plots. Show homes are expected to be open to later this year. A site plan for Deva Green is available to view online now at [https://anwyl.co.uk/devagreen](https://anwyl.co.uk/devagreen), where you can also add your name to the growing database. As a family run business, Flintshire-based Anwyl takes a thoughtful approach to creating its developments, focusing on building communities that include new homes, green spaces, wildlife habitats and more.
