Milestone approaches for new homes in Winnington

As the first phase of a new community in Winnington nears a sell-out, buyers are being urged to act now to make a summer move. Anwyl Homes is transforming part of the former Winnington Business Park site, off Winnington Avenue, into a new community of circa 250 homes. The vast majority of the 124 homes on the first phase of Winnington Place have now been sold, with many of them now occupied. But while availability is limited, there’s still plenty of choice with two, three and four-bedroom homes on sale, with prices from £214,995. Construction of these homes is progressing well, with the four-bedroom detached Stratford due to be build complete by the summer. Anwyl area sales manager Amy Houlihan said:
“We’ve come a long way since we released the first homes for sale at Winnington Place back in February 2021. The former business park has developed into a lovely new community and a place where people really enjoy living. We’re nearing a sell-out on the first phase of the development with only a few homes currently available including some that will soon be ready to move into.”

Priced from £378,995, the Stratford is a generously proportioned, double-fronted, four-bedroom detached family home, with detached single garage. On one side of the central staircase is the inviting lounge, the perfect place to sit back and relax in. On the other, is the combined kitchen and dining room, with French doors offering lots of natural light and easy access to the garden. The ground floor of the Stratford also features a utility, providing a dedicated space for the washer and dryer, plus a cloakroom. Upstairs, all four bedrooms are doubles. The main bedroom benefits an en-suite, leaving the family bathroom to serve the other three.

All of Anwyl’s homes are predicted a minimum EPC rating of B thanks to energy efficient features including high quality loft and wall insulation, energy efficient boilers, radiators and appliances, low energy lightbulbs and water restrictors on taps. Thanks to their efficiency levels, they’re eligible for green mortgages from selected lenders, while also potentially lowering household bills. Each home at Winnington Place benefits from an electric vehicle charging point.

Located between Northwich and Hartford, Winnington is close to a variety of shops, restaurants and cafes, and an excellent choice of schools; and there are plenty of parks, woodlands and scenic walks to enjoy nearby. It also has excellent road links to the M56 and A556 making it ideal for commuters.
