Making moving to a new home in Warrington simple

Written by Anwyl Homes | 12 Feb 2026

A simple move to a new home in Warrington could start with a visit to Eagles Green next weekend (February 21 and 22).

We’re hosting a Move Simple event to guide buyers through the valuable help it’s offering to homeowners to speed up the selling and buying process.

From noon to 5pm, our homes advisers will be joined by moving specialists to talk visitors through their options including the Move Simple and Part Exchange schemes.

Area sales manager Amy Houlihan said: “One of the biggest barriers to moving is having a house to sell. Many people want to move but don’t know whether to find a new home they love first or sell their existing property, which can be a drawn-out process especially if there are long chains involved. Then there’s all the admin to deal with and agents’ fees to pay.

“Research from Rightmove suggests February or March are the best times to list a property for sale, but it could still be months before sellers are in a position to buy a new home that better suits their needs. Data from home.co.uk suggests the average selling time in Warrington is 99 days, with some properties taking even longer.

“The good news is we can help reduce that time. Typically, people selling with Move Simple secure a buyer within two to four weeks, but it could even be a matter of days. From valuing your current home, finding the right buyer, to managing estate agents and even contributing towards their fees, we’re here to help make your move simple. In some cases, we may even take your existing property in Part Exchange.”

Current availability at Eagles Green includes a choice of energy efficient homes, with two to five-bedrooms. Open market prices range from £349,995 to £719,995.

New figures from the HBF* suggest new build homes are around 21% cheaper to run than older properties, offering the chance to save approximately £420 a year on energy bills.

Homes at Eagles Green include heat pumps, EV chargers and optional PV panels. Research* by the HBF and Octopus Energy found that upgrading an older property to match the energy efficiency of a new home could cost between £23,100 and £83,000.

Our 157-home development is part of the wider Omega scheme regenerating the former 600-acre RAF Burtonwood airbase. The wider new neighbourhood includes a two-form entry primary school, 35-acre country park and a commercial hub.

Warrington town centre is less than 15-minutes’ drive away from Eagles Green, while easy access to the M62 makes it a great base for commuting to Liverpool and Manchester.

The Move Simple even takes place at Eagles Green from noon to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday (February 21 and 22).

Show homes at the development are open Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 5.30pm and from noon to 5.30pm on Mondays. For more information about the development see our website.
