New homes in Ingol will be released for sale off plan next month.
Work is progressing at Walkers Glade, where we’re creating a new neighbourhood on land previously part of Ingol Golf Course.
Those who’d registered were invited to an exclusive preview event, held at Maxy Farm, which is around a mile away from the development, ahead of the official sales launch next month.
From April 11 buyers will be able to visit a temporary sales centre on site at Walkers Glade and discover the advantages of purchasing a property off plan, ahead of show homes opening in the summer.
Area sales manager Imogen Suffell said: “Dozens of people have enquired about our new homes in Ingol and in response to demand we held a special preview event. It was well attended, with buyers eager to view the site and floor plans and learn more about the development from our friendly, experienced sales team. Feedback is that they love the design of our homes and we’re working with potential purchasers to help them secure a move here.
“The next major milestone for the new community we’re creating at Walkers Glade will be the opening of the temporary sales centre next month. It will feature VR technology, enabling buyers to explore the homes and the development before it’s built, giving them a real insight into what life in a new home in Ingol could be like.”
Located on Tanterton Hall Road, Walkers Glade will see us create 164 new homes. More than half of the 27-acre site will be public open space and woodland, with a central play area set to provide a focal point for the new neighbourhood.
Walkers Glade will offer 114 private sale properties, plus 50 affordable homes to cater for local housing need.
It will offer a selection of three, four and five-bedroom semi-detached and detached designs for private sale.
Initial prices are from £259,995 for a three-bedroom semi-detached Bretton style home.
The affordable housing will include a choice of two and three-bedroom apartments, mews, semi-detached and detached homes.
During the planning process, we made a section 106 agreement to invest in the local community. This includes a contribution of more than £700,000 towards primary education, plus obligations on local employment skills and biodiversity net gain.
The temporary sales centre at Walkers Glade is due to open on April 11.
