# Just two chances to buy new at our Wrexham development

The final two homes at our popular development in Wrexham are complete and ready to move into.
We’ve created a vibrant new community at [Maes y Rhedyn](https://www.anwylhomes.co.uk/maes-y-rhedyn), on Straight Mile Road, in Llay, where a pair of four-bedroom detached designs are for sale.
One of the final homes, the Farndon, priced at £299,995, is available to purchase with a [Help to Buy Wales](https://www.anwylhomes.co.uk/buying-with-anwyl/help-to-buy-wales/#:~:text=Help%20to%20Buy%20%E2%80%93%20Wales%20lets%20first-time%20buyers%20and%20homeowners) equity loan. This means buyers only require a 5% deposit and a 75% mortgage. The remaining 20% portion of the purchase price is funded using a government-backed loan, which is interest-free for the first five years.
Since 2020, Help to Buy Wales has made purchasing a new home at Maes y Rhedyn possible for 35 homebuyers.
Graeme Gibb, sales director for Anwyl Homes Cheshire and North Wales, said: “Our sought-after Llay development is now complete, which means the final two properties are both ‘ready for you’ homes; perfect for those who want to make a fast move.
“The bonus for someone buying the Farndon is the option to utilise Help to Buy Wales. It’s available exclusively on new homes priced up to £300,000 and could make purchasing a new home more affordable. It’s open to applications from both first-time buyers and existing homeowners, so those looking for their first or forever home can get a helping hand.
“The Farndon is ideal for growing families thanks to an open-plan kitchen diner to the rear and spacious lounge to the front. Upstairs are four bedrooms, two of them doubles, with the main bedroom benefitting from an en-suite.”
Maes y Rhedyn features 177 homes and all but the final two are occupied, creating a readymade community for new homeowners to join.
Graeme added: “Llay itself is a great place to live, with lots of local amenities on the doorstep including a new Aldi. It’s surrounded by the beautiful Wrexham countryside but has great connections to both Wrexham and Chester city centres via the A483.”
Alongside the Farndon house type is the Stratford, priced at £349,995. The Stratford is an impressive double-fronted property, with a lounge to one side and an open-plan kitchen-dining room to the other, both running the length of the house from front to back. Upstairs are four generous double bedrooms, with the main also having an en-suite.
“For those interested in our remaining homes, and with an existing property to sell, our Move Simple and Part Exchange schemes could be the easy route to a swift move,” Graeme added.
