A junior cricket team in Chorley is sporting a new kit thanks to our home town suport.
Chorley Cricket Club Under 10s’ team received £600 in sponsorship from us.
The team plays in the Palace Shield Competition with matches and training at Windsor Park, Chorley – around four miles from our Lancashire offices and Parr Meadows development in Eccleston.
One of the team’s managers Roger Thompson works as a design manager for us.
Roger explained: “The sponsorship has covered the cost of team kit and jumpers. The navy kits, with the club crest and Anwyl logo, gives the team its own identity. It’s a refreshing change from traditional whites, making them the envy of the other teams. We’re a mixed team and practice at Windsor Park on Mondays from 6pm to 7pm and happy to welcome new players who want to get involved.”
Chorley Cricket Club has a strong presence on the Palace Shield junior section, with six teams from under 10 to under 15 competing.
