# Homebuilder invites good causes in Ingol to apply for funding

for good causes in Ingol and the surrounding area is now available under the ‘Love From Anwyl’ initiative.
The homebuilder is offering the voluntary initiative linked to its [Walkers Glade](https://www.anwylhomes.co.uk/our-developments/walkers-glade/) development on Tanterton Hall Road.
Anwyl head of brand and regional marketing Phoebe Davies explained: “We’ve recently started welcoming the first residents into their new homes in Ingol and want to help ensure that as the neighbourhood grows the surrounding area continues to thrive. As part of our commitment to being a thoughtful homebuilder we’re offering a community fund, known as Love from Anwyl. We’re keen to hear from good causes in and around Ingol in need of some financial assistance.”
Funding under Love from Anwyl will be released in phases, with the aim of supporting as many projects as possible. With that in mind, there’s a cap on the grants being offered of £1,500 per applicant.
“Love from Anwyl has already made a difference to a range of projects across Lancashire in recent years. We’ve helped schools with resources, kitted out sports teams, provided equipment for youth groups, covered a brass band’s travel costs for competitions and donated baby bundles for families in need, among other things,” Phoebe added.
“We’re open to suggestions as to how we can support the community in Ingol and the surrounding area. It could be a project that’s been running for years and is in need of some help, or it may be something that requires a boost to get started.”
Love From Anwyl is a voluntary scheme attached to 164 new homes being built at Walkers Glade, on land previously part of Ingol Golf Club.
It’s in addition to Section 106 funding, agreed during the planning process, which includes a contribution of more than £700,000 towards primary education and obligations on local employment skills and biodiversity net gain.
More than half of the 27-acre site will be public open space and woodland. A central play area will provide a focal point for the new neighbourhood.
