Just two homes remain for sale at our development in Holmes Chapel.
Victoria Mills has been hugely popular since its launch in June 2021 and buyers who wish to become part of a blossoming new community are being urged to act quickly.
The final duo at our Macclesfield Road venture are a three-bedroom semi-detached Bretton and a four-bedroom semi-detached ‘Euxton’, both offering plenty of space for growing families.
Since opening we’ve seen an average of three reservations a month and have now sold 137 of the properties. The development is on course to be build complete in early 2025.
Graeme Gibb, sales director for Anwyl Homes Cheshire and North Wales, attributed the site’s success to its sought-after location and the wide range of homes offered.
He said: “Holmes Chapel is a popular village with plenty of amenities and a strong sense of community. Our new homes at Victoria Mills are within walking distance of the train station, plus local shops and schools. It’s also a prime location for commuters, close to number of larger towns and cities, including Manchester and Crewe.
“The homes we’ve built here have offered a wide choice, from bungalows and two and three-storey homes. This ensured the development has appealed to a wide variety of purchasers from first time buyers and professionals to larger families. It’s also been sought after by downsizers, who have swapped an older home for a brand new energy efficient property, with no maintenance and very little upkeep required.”
Victoria Mills includes a new play area and areas of green open space for residents and the wider community to enjoy. A new pedestrian link from the development to the footpath on Eastgate Road provides easy access to the railway station and the centre of Holmes Chapel on foot.
Graeme added: “These final two homes offer a ‘last chance’ for buyers to be part of the flourishing new community we’ve created at Victoria Mills.”
The site’s industrial past as a wallpaper factory is commemorated in two of the street names. George Jackson Avenue and James Walker Drive are named after the founders of the Holmes Chapel Wall Paper Company, which originally occupied the land we have developed. A third new road is called Henry Cotton Way in honour of legendary golfer Sir Thomas Henry Cotton, who lived in a house on the site as a young child.
The three-bedroom Bretton is priced at £314,995. It features a spacious lounge at the front, with an open-plan kitchen/diner at the rear, where everyone can share quality time. French doors offer lots of natural light from this sociable space and easy access to the garden. There’s also a cloakroom and storage area on this level.
Upstairs, all the bedrooms – two double and one single – are generously sized. Bedroom one benefits from a beautiful, luxurious en-suite shower room, while a further family bathroom means that busy mornings and bedtimes are never a problem.
The final Euxton property is on sale at £384,995. It features a desirable open plan ground floor and three floors of generous living space. While the first floor is occupied by three bedrooms and the family bathroom, the top floor is reserved for the expansive main bedroom suite, complete with en-suite shower room and dressing area.
