Two of our professionally designed show homes have hit the market in the sought-after SK9 postcode area, giving buyers the chance to secure a stylish readymade property.
Our show homes at The Fairways in Handforth have provided design inspiration to more than 170 homebuyers so far at the development.
Styled by Cheshire-based Lifestyle Interiors, the five-bedroom detached Bowdon and the four-bedroom detached Oakmere are all now on sale as the development nears its final phase.
When the show homes opened, Gemma Schofield, managing director of Lifestyle Interiors, explained that each one was given a different look to appeal to a varied target market.
“The concept for the four-bedroom Oakmere was simplicity”, said Gemma. “Using neutral light tones we created a luxurious home without using too much colour. We concentrated on texture to bring detail into the scheme along with accents of burnt gold.”
The property includes a home office, which is a must-have feature for many people who need to work remotely. Gemma and her team cleverly created a multi-functional space which doubles as a media and sports room.
Gemma added: “In the five-bedroom Bowdon we’ve used calming tonal hues of taupes, stone and grey throughout, with pops of antique brass, rich navy velvets and warm walnut woods to create a sense of high-end luxury. Again, the main bedroom is a huge space and bedroom two has been designed as a guest bedroom; both feature an en-suite and a hotel feel to the styling. Bedroom four includes a hand-painted space mural created by our specialist mural artist, while bedroom five has been transformed into a study, with textured leather wallpaper.”
The Fairways is located in the small town of Handforth. With its village feel, the location offers a lifestyle with easy access to green spaces, independent shops, restaurants and essential amenities, while also being within easy reach of nearby Wilmslow and Manchester city centre by road and rail.
The Fairways will eventually feature 224 homes from one to five bedrooms. Prices currently start at £424,995 for a three-bedroom semi-detached.
Both show homes are open to view and ready to move into with all furniture included. The Bowdon show home, which also features a double garage, is priced at £850,000, while the Oakmere comes with a detached single garage and is priced at £670,000.
