# Chester development hits halfway milestone

Half the homes at our new development in Chester are now complete.
We launched [Deva Green](http://www.anwylhomes.co.uk/our-developments/deva-green.), off Clifton Drive, in April 2022. We’ve now sold 60% of the 142 properties, with 68 homeowners moved in.
Bordered by open countryside on two sides, and located in an established residential area, close to Sealand Road, Deva Green features a range of two, three and four-bedroom designs.
Around the new properties, we are creating green space for residents to enjoy and habitats for wildlife, including ponds and new areas of planting.
Graeme Gibb, sales director for Anwyl Homes Cheshire and North Wales, said: “With so many couples, families and professionals already moved in, there is now a real buzz on the development and a sense of community forming. That means others looking to buy here have an idea of the lifestyle on offer when they visit our sales office and show homes.
“Properties this close to Chester city centre, particularly new builds, which offer greater energy efficiency to relieve the burden of high energy prices, are in demand.
“Deva Green is in a great location for buyers who want to be close to excellent local amenities. It’s just a short walk via a public footpath to the Greyhound Retail Park, which boasts three supermarkets, a gym, restaurants and cafes, and a wide variety of shops.”
Homeowners will also be within walking distance of the city centre, which they can reach via Sealand Road, taking in Chester’s renowned racecourse and River Dee enroute, or along the popular Millennium Greenway walking and cycle route.
A range of three and four-bedroom homes are currently for sale. Prices start from £304,995 for a semi-detached, three-storey Snowdon home, with an open plan kitchen/diner/living area on the ground floor; bedrooms two and three and a family bathroom on the first floor, and a large main bedroom suite on the top floor, featuring a dressing area and en-suite.
