Anwyl Homes Launches New Deposit Boost To Help Key Workers Buy A New Home

Written by Anwyl Homes | 20 Jan 2026

We’ve launched an initiative designed to help key workers take a step onto or up the property ladder across North Wales and the North West of England.

The Anwyl Homes Key Worker Deposit Boost offers eligible buyers up to £25,000 towards the purchase of a new Anwyl home, helping to reduce the upfront cost of buying and making homeownership more achievable.

Under the scheme, key workers receive £1,000 for every £20,000 of the property’s purchase price, capped at £25,000. The contribution can be used to strengthen a deposit or reduce mortgage payments.

For example, for a home costing £340,000, you would qualify for a contribution of £17,000. Or, if you were purchasing a home for £480,000, you would qualify for a contribution of £24,000.

The scheme is available to a wide range of key workers and community professionals, including those working in the NHS, education, emergency services, local authorities, transport, environmental services and social care, as well as Blue Light Card holders.

Graeme Gibb, sales director for Anwyl Homes Cheshire and North Wales, said: “This scheme is about offering practical support to help people move sooner and with greater confidence. Key workers make a real difference every day and we’re proud to be able to play a small part in helping those who give so much to their communities.”

The Key Worker Deposit Boost is available on all our developments, subject to terms and conditions, including status and availability. The contribution is agreed before reservation and paid on legal completion.
